Is there a service that will prepare my landlord register entry for me?
Yes. Landlord Papers prepares each entry from your certificates, property by property, ready for you to copy into GOV.UK, for £29 a year for up to 3 properties (waitlist open now). We never ask for your GOV.UK One Login, never take the £65 government fee and never submit anything in your name. The other tools we checked give you a checklist, workbook or pack to fill in yourself.
What is the cheapest way to get gas safety and EICR reminders?
Free, with no account: Landlord Papers’ calendar reminders (60, 30 and 7 days before each expiry, and on the day) and Landlord Deadlines’ calendar builder. Free with an account: LetCompliance for 1 property and August for up to 2 tenancies. Paid: Righto Landlord at £6 a month for up to 4 properties.
Which landlord apps read certificate dates automatically?
August and LetCompliance say they read the expiry dates from certificates you upload. Landlord Papers reads them for you as part of the done-for-you service. Righto Landlord and Landlord Deadlines ask you to type the dates in.
Is there a free landlord register worksheet?
Yes. Landlord Papers’ register worksheet is free, with no account or email, and prints one sheet per property. Landlord Studio’s registration pack is free but needs your email. Landlord Deadlines’ workbook costs £22.80.
How were these checked?
Every price and feature was read on each company’s own website on 3 November 2026, and each row links to its sources. We didn’t sign up to the paid plans, so app features are as each company describes them. Prices change, so check before you buy.
